Our midwife holds an antenatal clinic on Thursday Afternoons. The first appointment is a longer one for booking and after that you will be seen at regular intervals by midwife or doctor. All antenatal care except for scans is carried out in the practice unless there are complications. After delivery the midwife cares for you for 10 days after which our health visitor takes over your routine care. For women who have had a complicated delivery, there is a hospital outpatient clinic available. If this applies to you, discuss it with your midwife, health visitor or doctor.
Time: Thursday Afternoons, booked with the Midwife.
A drop-in clinic is held at the surgery by Chiltern Villages Health Visiting Team on the first Tuesday of each month between 9.45am and 10.45am, offering support, advice, information and weight checking.
If you would like to contact a Health Visitor, please telephone 01189 721610 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
